Federico Fiorentino and the Italian shipyard Eurocraft have joined forces, creating an outstanding 43 meter superyacht named ‘Eldoris’. Built entirely in aluminum and with a displacement of about 200 tons, this fast planing yacht will be capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, perfectly combining an aggressive design, elegance and comfort.
Thanks to the fortunate encounter between Federico Fiorentino and Marcello Zangrandi, general manager of the Italian shipyard based in Vado Ligure, new yachts characterized by the perfect mix between the personal and unmistakable style of the Italian yacht designer and the high quality typical of Eurocraft buildings, will see the light.
Eldoris is the first project involving both Eurocraft, specialized in building bespoke yachts in steel and aluminum, and the exterior designer Federico Fiorentino. It’s an ‘over the top’ yacht, intended to gain a leading position in the small circle of fast superyachts.
Both the designer and the shipyard have proven to be able to deliver top level boats, Federico Fiorentino with more than 50 successful designs under his belt, and Eurocraft with different yachts successfully navigating the globe, among which Baron Trenck definitely stands out for being one of the most chartered yachts in the world.
Eldoris has a strong personality and is characterized by a sleek and aggressive design, which is also reflected in the high performance.
Underlying the creative process carried out by the designer, Federico Fiorentino, there is a specific philosophy that involves the personal reinterpretation of classical forms, in the firm belief that the yacht industry is characterized by functional constraints and long lasting traditions.
The luxurious Eldoris, that has been developed on an existing and fully tested platform, is a 43 meter toy capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, thanks to her twin 3648 hp MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines. Despite the remarkable performance, it will be characterized by low levels of vibration and noise.
Particular attention has been paid in the engineering and computing stage, to reduce the vibration in order to achieve an isolation standard typical of much bigger yachts. The same kind of attention was paid also to the safety. As an example of this philosophy: the yacht is equipped with a sprinkler fire system, far more complex than what is strictly required by the regulations (Lloyd’s/MCA).
Eldoris is under 500 GRT and can accommodate up to 10 guests plus 7 crew in total. The owner will have the possibility to personally customize the interior decor, in collaboration with an architect of trust or one of the interior designers who work with the shipyard and with Federico Fiorentino Milan-based studio, in order to create a really tailor-made superyacht.
