Bulgari and Maserati join to create stunning timepiece

Baselworld 2012 releases continue and our most recent encounter of luxury automobile, and fine watch making coming together were the Breitling for Bentley limited edition watch.

Now 2 Italian masters, Bulgari and Maserati have joined hands to create a quintessential timepiece, named the ‘Bulgari Octo Maserati’ watch. This watch could easily be known as a symbol that the auto and watch brands stand for; performance, style, and precision in time tracking and movement. Very much the Maserati styled dial, this watch is something ideally suited for the collections of automobile enthusiasts and horological connoisseurs.

Prominent and sporty, the watch features a 45mm broad dial, encased in a polished steel casing. Along the outer rim, the markings of speed instantly send out a clear message, and core essence that bought the 2 brands together. Inside the dial, there is a complicated set up of sub-dials, which are blue and white in color, and have been styled according to Maserati cars front grills. Some of the features of this watch  include the date counter just below the 12 ‘o’clock’ slot, and the 10-minute counter just above that. There is also the hour counter, seconds counter, and the 30-minute counter present on the dial of the watch. Within the case is an automatic mechanical movement to keep the watch running, and perform its functions.

The side crowns and buckling use the same grade of steel but have a rugged and sporty feel to it. In fact the design makes the central case look larger than it already is. The strapping also carries the Maserati tire like appearance in black shade. Almost the perfect creation, displaying the high-end brands coming together on a common platform.
