New Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Performance Studio Edition is exclusive to Japan

Mercedes has a special treat for performance enthusiasts from the land of the rising sun. A brand new C63 AMG Performance Studio Edition which is extensively modified and not just for the name sake, To start with, AMG has pegged the 6.2 liter engine from 451 hp to 480hp.

On the outside it has 19-inch multispoke alloy wheels in black with a red rim, a carbon trunk lid lip spoiler, unique exhaust tailpipes and red brake calipers.

On the inside it has hand-crafted AMG floor mats with nappa leather piping, the AMG door lock pins and the addition of a standard Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system.

First deliveries are scheduled to start in November 2012, with pricing in Japan set at 15 million Yen (about US$192,000 or €154,400), or about 4.25 million Yen more than the regular C63 AMG sedan.
