The Country Castle Company began life in 2007 and is a collection of luxury Country Castles, Exclusive Party Houses, Big Cottages, Stately Manors and Stylish Retreats across the UK.

The properties are the perfect setting for large groups of friends and family to get away together, magnificent backdrops for milestone celebrations, hideaways that will inspire corporate teams to success and we have seen our fair share of truly memorable weddings.

Working with properties personally inspected by the team, owners who trust the brand and a great quality of clientele has seen The Country Castle Company grow in acclaim and recognition throughout the industry over the years.

The company evolved when director/owner Jennie Verleg, living at the time in Dubai, realised that finding the right property in the UK for a family event was incredibly difficult. Nobody seemed to have a decent collection that was personally inspected (very important when you can’t view it yourself!) and who offered genuine advice. With a degree in psychology and a track record of creating and understanding fabulous interiors she went on to create a brand that both clients and property owners can trust to give sensible, honest information based on solid experience.

Each property is personal and individual, there are no strangers crowding the hallways and no fixed breakfast time. At many houses you can tailor your stay by taking optional services such as a butler, decadent catered dinners, organic spa treatments, wine tasting or archery in the garden, but there is also the opportunity to bring a good book and your family with no further fuss and simply enjoy being together. Many properties are rich in history and the housekeepers can be prevailed upon to tell you secrets and show you all those little details that make staying at an individual private property so much fun.
