29th July 2016: JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE, a growing international network of luxury Scotch whisky embassies, announced the launch of the first JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE at sea in partnership with Dream Cruises. Guests on board Genting Dream, the first-ever Asian luxury cruise line, will be able to indulge their passion in the finest of luxury on the high seas starting in November this year.

Mr. Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises and Mr. Lawrence Law, Global Director – JOHNNIE WALKER Super Deluxe Luxury Portfolio JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE, marked the joint partnership of the two brands by unveiling eight bottles of JOHNNIE WALKER Blue Label each engraved with the Dream Cruises logo during a special Dream Cruises roadshow event in Beijing yesterday afternoon. This exclusive collection, which was designed and produced to commemorate the opening of JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE on the cruise line, will be released and made available for purchase for cruise passengers.

JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE on Genting Dream will retain the signature features that make JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE across the globe unique. When visitors step into JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE on Genting Dream, they will be transported into an exclusive environment complete with a tasting bar where they can enjoy the pinnacle of whiskies from the JOHNNIE WALKER Super Deluxe portfolio. Guests can also see a ‘whisky constellation wall’ dedicated to the JOHNNIE WALKER heritage of the Art of Blending, providing a comprehensive index for Scotch Whisky Distilleries which provides JOHNNIE WALKER’s access to over 7 million casks of whiskies to create their blends. There is also a Blending Table for immersive and intimate whisky conversations, surrounded by a stunning malt wall display.

The JOHNNIE WALKER HOUSE on Genting Dream also offers valued guests an exclusive opportunity to appreciate, taste and purchase a selection of the rarest John Walker & Sons variants and single malts that are not available elsewhere, alongside an enriching mentoring experience. Bottles may be purchased duty free and personally engraved. In addition, unique JOHNNIE WALKER Scotch Whisky cocktails and JOHNNIE WALKER whisky and food pairing menus will be offered on board Genting Dream.

Genting Dream, currently undergoing fit-out at shipbuilders Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, will debut from her homeport of Guangzhou (Nansha) in November this year.
