Groundbreaking new travel service allows luggage check in from any front door
AirPortr, the London based travel technology start-up, in partnership with British Airways, has today launched AirPortr + Bag Check-In, a ‘game-changing’ new service for airline customers, which allows them to check in their luggage from anywhere in London.
AirPortr brings the check-in desk experience to every customers’ home, hotel lobby or desk in the City. AirPortr + Bag Check-In allows those travelling with British Airways to travel straight through the airport completely luggage free until they reach baggage reclaim at their destination airport.
The new service is a major evolution in the passenger air travel experience. British Airways customers flying from London can, for the first time, avoid the conundrum of what to do with bags when faced with a late flight or early hotel check-out. It will also allow them to squeeze in that extra business meeting or go last minute gift shopping. Equally, passengers can wave goodbye to the stress of dragging heavy luggage onto the tube, bus or train during rush hour and arrive at the airport calm, relaxed and ready to start their holiday.
