There is something to be said about supercars that stand the test of time. There is something more to be said about one of a kind supercars that stand the test of time. Meet BlackJag, a design study in 2 seat high performance supercars that was built in 2004. Shown around the world at the time, the BlackJag was an infusion of British luxury and brute Formula One performance.
The one off prototype was a collaboration between the storied luxury car maker and renowned designer Erwin Leo Himmel.
The V10 twin turbo engine is placed mid-ship for the ultimate power to balance ratio and produces a staggering 900 hp.
A 6 speed twin plate clutch transmission is controlled by F1 style paddle shifters on the wheel. The high performance drivetrain is mated to a permanent all wheel drive system that delivers a race track experience. The chassis is aluminum and body is carbon fiber which even by today’s standards is high tech.
The prototype will be made road worthy by Swiss automotive engineer Hispano Suiza but I wonder which roads are worthy of this spectacular machine.
Coming up for sale on the market, The BlackJag is an incredible opportunity to own a one of kind supercar.
