Presenting a bottle as a gift at any gathering instantly gives you credibility as a professional guest. Either a fine wine or a luxury spirit, every host will appreciate something for the bar. Connoisseurs of ‘the sauce’ appreciate and understand the differing tiers of whiskey and the 12 pointed Royal Stag emblem is instantly recognized as the finest single malt scotch on the market.
This holiday season, legendary scotch maker The Dalmore unveils 2 luxury whiskeys that cater to both ends of the experience spectrum.
The Dalmore 21 is the perfect blend for the ‘young’ whiskey enthusiast. Beautifully boxed in a uniquely designed displayable slider case, both the box and bottle proudly display The Dalmore ‘stag’. Inside the bottle resides a 21 year aged scotch that begins its life in American white oak casks. The last 10 years are spent finishing in Matusalem oloroso sherry barrels giving the whiskey a bold and definitive finish. An outstanding whiskey experience priced at approximately $560 USD which doesn’t bar entry into the upper tiers of the luxury scotch world.
For something a little more ‘professional’, forget about the fancy box and focus what’s inside The Dalmore 30. It takes 30 years in Matusalem oloroso and Amoroso oloroso sherry casks from the famed Gonzalez Byass in Spain to create this luxury blend and The Dalmore does it further justice by limiting this edition to only 888 bottles. Each one proudly displays its own number under the majestic Royal Stag.
The box itself is classically finished in piano black and has a black velvet interior to cradle the precious hooch. Priced accordingly at approximately $2,300 USD and limited quantities ensures that its value will indeed get better with age.
